How to spot Sham Contracts

We refer to sham contracts when a service provider is characterised as something they’re not. Many doctors in Australia are being called (and treated as) contractors, when in truth, they’re employees.

The risks of these sham contracts are heavy penalties and professional frustrations for the employers and underpaid wages for the individual workers.

See the article that we co-wrote with Dr Kevin Cheng and Dr Andrew Robertson of Osana and published on Medical Republic.
